Fake iDEAL | Wero refund emails circulate in the Netherlands

The Dutch Fraud Helpdesk warns of emails that claim to come from iDEAL | Wero and say a refund from Worldplay B.V. is still outstanding. The message asks you to verify your identity through a link within the week and promises the money back by the next business day. iDEAL also reported that several phishing campaigns are active.
What to do: Delete the email and do not click links or open attachments. iDEAL never asks you by email to confirm personal data or start a verification. Report the email to your bank.
